Q. How do I set up an account on the New York Times website?

We also provide a searchable database of the text of the New York Times from 1851 to the present. You can access these from the Databases A-Z list or by clicking here for the historical issues (1851 to about 4 years ago) or here for the more recent issues (starting around 1980).
