What is the Senior Scholarly and Creative Symposium?
This is a multi-day, drop-in event held at Roy O. West Library. The Symposium provides all seniors the chance to present their senior research or creative projects and papers to their peers and to members of the campus community. Projects can include, but are not limited to: papers, presentations, creative projects, posters, etc.
Student's submissions will be archived in the Libraries' institutional repository and made available through the open access platform. Students will be provided with a permanent URL and citation for their project that can be added to their resumé and or graduate school applications.
If you are interested in having your students/majors participate- students can either sign up individually, or you can sign up your course by reaching out to the symposium organizers (library@depauw.edu). We work with instructors to find a time for your course to present or do a poster session so your class can all go at one time block.
The 2025 symposium is planned for Tuesday, May 6 - Thursday May 8. The time of the event will depend on how many students participate. If you have questions or are interested in participating, please contact DePauw Libraries.
